June is one of my favorite months of the year because it means that summer—the best season hands down—is in full effect. And summer brings two things that are essential to a life worth living: the heat (if you’re like me, there is no such thing as too much heat, and if you’re not like me, I really don’t get it. How can you like being cold? What is there to like??) AND all the summer reading that starts pubbing.
I ❤️ a good summer read. I want the kind of book that’s so deliciously brain candy that you can forget (at least until you get an anxiety-causing Google Alert on your phone) that the world is kind of a crazy place right now. Luckily, June does not disappoint. At least when it comes to reading, since there are no guarantees when it comes to this crazy weather we’ve been having in New York City.
