Instagram—like all social media platforms—has a lot going on. You can find accounts and hashtags dedicated to all sorts of things, from coffee cups to city lovers.

For book lovers, Instagram is an amazing place because the #bookish community is active and so much fun! Follow the hashtags #bookstagram, #bibliophile, and #bookworm, and you’ll find beautiful photos, artistic portraits, and all the book recommendations you could ever want. Book lovers also gave rise to #bookfacefriday—which is more of a show than tell thing. So see below for some of my faves!

Love this #bookfacefriday photo featuring Sandhya Menon’s When Dimple Met Rishi! Getting the angle just right can be hard, so I have serious respect for the people who took this photo!

Hey, Prince Harry… ? Featuring Prince Harry: Brother, Soldier, Son by Penny Junor!

This photo of A Girl Like That by Tanaz Bhathena is SPOT ON.

I love when people are so committed to #BookFaceFriday, they plan their outfit out to match the book. Definitely what happened here! Featuring My Year of Rest and Relaxation by Ottessa Moshfegh.

So excited to include this one—it’s me posing with Stephen King’s It! Am I scary?
